Request for Approval: Reviewing an RFA (as a Designer)

Reviewing an RFA as a Designer



The appropriate Consultant or Designer assigned to the request will review the RFA. Once the request has been reviewed, the Designer will leave their viewpoints or comments before sending it back to the Project Manager.

Instructions:



The steps for reviewing a request are as follows:

On the Steer dashboard, a request for information will show under Tasks. Click on the Request for Approval you need to review.

The Contractor Attachments to this request can be viewed and downloaded for review.

For any comments or response once the ticket is reviewed, fill in the Designer Remarks field.
The Designer can also attach documents to this ticket by clicking on the + sign button.

Fill in the Attachment Name. To attach a File or Image, click on the corresponding buttons.
Click on the icon to add the attachments and click on the X button to cancel.

To edit the newly added record, click on the Edit Row icon and then click on the Bin icon to delete it.

Once done reviewing the request, click on Approve.

Once the ticket is approved, it will be routed back to the Project Manager for final approval. The Project Manager can also leave Remarks and attach Documents. The ticket will be moved to Done once the Project Manager approves it, and the Contractor will see the result of the request.
