Site Instructions: Creating a Documented Instruction

Site instruction in Steer is used to document changes to the project plan or to offer additional instructions about the project. Anyone who needs to create site instructions can do so, the Project Manager will review the instruction route and the contractor will confirm that they have received and understood the instructions.
Head to Quality and Safety module (Project Dashboard > Sidebar > Quality and Safety) and select Site Instruction.
On the Site Instruction summary page, click on Create Ticket.
On the Site Construction form, fill out the Subject field.
Select the Instruction Type from the choices provided.
Enter the Vendor and select the Trade for the instructions.
Describe the instruction in the Work Description field and provide a justification in the Justification field. Add Remarks if any.
Attach your Signature to the ticket then click on Submit Ticket.
