Inspection Request: Creating an Inspection Request
Last Updated: September 18, 2023
A task that is marked as 100% completed and approved during the approval process in accomplishment reports is not yet tagged as completed in the Gantt chart until it has proceeded with the inspection process.
To create an inspection request, here are the steps to follow:
Head to Quality and Safety module (Project Dashboard > Sidebar > Quality and Safety) and select Inspection Request.
On the Inspection Request summary page, click on Create Ticket. This will open the Inspection Request Form.
On the Inspection Request Form, fill out the fields for Subject and Request Details.
From the Task List section, check all tasks that need inspection.
The data on this form is taken directly from the Project Plan. It shows all tasks that are tagged as 100% complete.
Tick the box of the selected task. You can add Remarks and upload photos to provide more detail.
Once done, click on Submit Ticket. The ticket will be routed to the Inspector to check each task and update their status accordingly to see if they passed or failed the inspection.
