Conducting an Inspection



Once the inspection request is submitted, the ticket will be routed to the Inspector to review each task on the list. If the work is satisfactory, the inspector will change the status of the task from waiting to completed and if the work is not it will be changed into failed.

Instructions:



To conduct an inspection, here are the steps to follow:

On the Steer dashboard, an inspection request for review will show under Tasks. Click on the Inspection Request needs to be reviewed.

Select by ticking the box and review the items in the Inspection List, their remarks and attached documents or photos.

If the task is satisfactory, change the status from Waiting to Completed. If issues are identified, change the status accordingly and necessary fill in the Remarks field.

Once the items have been reviewed, go to the Inspection Result field located in the Inspection Details section and select Pass or Fail to state the result of the request.

If the ticket is marked as Failed, fill in the Remarks field to provide more details about the failure.

Once done, click on Approve. This will be routed back to the Project Manager for confirmation.
