Creating a Project Task



Ad hoc tasks serve as a tool to manage unexpected project-related tasks that are not actually related to the project plan itself, such as flagging non complaint items or completing other documentation.

Instructions:



To create an ad hoc task, below are the steps to follow:

Head to Quality and Safety module (Project Dashboard > Sidebar > Quality and Safety) and select Ad hoc Task.

On the Ad hoc Task summary page, click on Create Ticket.

3 On the Ad hoc Task form, fill out the Subject, Assign to Specific Person field and Task Information section.

Select the Task Category on its dropdown menu.

Select the Priority level of the task by selecting the appropriate option.

Relevant documents and images can also be attached. To attach these, click on corresponding Choose a File buttons.

Then click the Submit Ticket to create the task.
