Submitting a Daily Activity Report

This workflow helps the project management to track and document daily activities, progress, manpower, visitors, delivery of materials and problems occurring on-site or within a project on a daily basis. Create and submit these reports efficiently using Steer.
To track and record daily activities on site, below are the outline steps to create and submit a report:
Log in to Steer and select the project where you want to submit a daily activity report.
Head to Quality and Safety module (Project Dashboard > Sidebar > Quality and Safety) and select Daily Activity Report.
On the Daily Activity Report summary page, click on Create Ticket. This will open the Daily Activity Report form with the first section displayed.
Create a Subject for the report, it may be the day’s accomplished activity.
In the General Information section, enter the Date of Submission of this report. Once done, proceed to the next section.
The Submitter Name field is auto populated with the name of the user who submitted the report.
In the Weather Report section, indicate the weather conditions for each time frame during the day.
In the Definable Feature of Work section, click the + button to add an Activity.
Select the Status from the dropdown and add Remarks if any. Click the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
In the Problems Encountered section, click the + button to add a Problem Encountered following Action Taken.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
In the Manpower section, click the + button to add an entry.
Select the Role and Company from the dropdown list, then enter the Quantity and Manpower Remarks if any. Click on the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
In the Concrete Pouring section, click the + button to enter necessary details and attach image of the delivery receipt.
Select the Design Mix and the Structure/Location from the dropdown list. Then enter the Total Volume Poured, the Start and End Time of the concrete pouring. Click on the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
In the Equipment Usage section, click the + button to add a record.
Select the Equipment and Location from the dropdown then enter the Activities done with the equipment, Hours Used and Equipment Remarks. Click on the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
In the Delivery of Materials section, click the + button to add a record.
Enter the material description in the Item Description field as well as the Quantity and select the Unit from the dropdown list. Enter the Materials Remarks if any. Click on the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
In the Visitor Log section, click the + button to add a record.
Enter the Visitor Name, Designation, Purpose of Visit, Time of Visit and Visitor Remarks if any. Click on the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
Lastly, in the Site Images section, click the + button to add a record.
Upload the Site Image of the activity accomplished for the day and add an Image Description of each image. Click on the ✔ to add the activity to the record X to cancel.
To make necessary changes to the added record, click on the corresponding icons for Edit Row or Delete.
Once you have completed all the sections, click on Submit Ticket.
