Adding Users to QuickReach and Configuring Access Settings

Last Updated: November 25, 2021

If you are an admin account holder, you can add and manage users when you go to the User Management via the Admin sidebar. From there, you will see the list of all users under your management, as well their Account Details and User Details. And if you want to add more users, there are two ways on how you can do this:

Add User - Manually type the user's information
Bulk User Import - Allows you to import information of two or more users in a single upload

Adding users manually will require you to enter the following information in the pop-up window:

First Name
Last Name
Phone Number
Email Address
Reports To

Save the user details. This will send an email notification to the user that they have been invited to QuickReach.

Bulk user import only accepts a .xlsx file from your device that contains the user details. You can download the file template provided by the system to follow the format needed for the .xlsx file.

Here are the columns needed for the .xlsx file:

First Name
Middle Name
Last Name
Email Address
Nickname

Once you have your file prepared, simply click the Upload a New File button to upload the users' data.

After adding users in QuickReach, the next step is to assign them their respective access roles.

You can assign different access types for each new user by going to the Access Settings page via the Admin sidebar:

List of users on your QuickReach instance

Your invited users will appear here in the Access Settings page and click the toggle control under the Assign License column beside your invited user to make them a regular internal user on QuickReach. You may also check the box under the Builder column if you need this user to have builder access.

External Access Management

On the last column of the Access Settings is the External Access Management column where you can allow specific Internal Users or Builders to add External Users on the platform.

Once a user is assigned a license, the Admin can decide if that user can access the External Access Management page on the Internal User sidebar. If the Admin gave Basic or Admin External Access Management access to an Internal User, those users with the said access can add external users such as clients, vendors, and anonymous users to their QuickReach instance.

Once you have activated a user's license, they can access the module and you will be billed for their access. The user invited will also receive an email notification that they have been given access to the module.
